The NSR 125F (JC20) was Honda Italia's new naked sports 125, shown in November 1987 and sold from May 1988. Its exposed aluminium twin-spar frame and one-piece tank and side-panel styling set it apart, and it was among the first 125 road bikes with a 17-inch front wheel and a large 316 mm disc. The revised two-stroke gained an electronically controlled RC exhaust valve and electric start, while a relatively upright position kept it usable every day.
